Joseph Concia is the founder of JMC Building Consultants who specializes in construction estimating, claim cost analysis and on-site project monitoring with over ten years of experience in the construction and consulting field. He has consulted on many loss assignments throughout the United States. This experience includes consulting on military bases and manufacturing plants, Industrial complexes, marine facilities both on and offshore, large apartment complexes, condominiums, churches, hospitals, restaurants, office parks, golf courses, ski resorts, sports complexes, with damages due to water, fire, hurricanes, hail, freeze, collapse, and explosion losses.

Joseph is recognized and sought out by numerous construction companies to solve problems and devolp innovative solutions on projects deemed impossible by most construction professionals. It is the more complex jobs where Joseph excels and continues to prove himself as an indispensable asset to both the consulting and construction industry.

Prior to the founding of JMC Building Consultants. Joseph was a Senior Building Consultant at J.S. Held where he was part of a team of building consultants on a multitude of complex projects throughout the country during his almost 9-year tenure.

Joseph has extensive experience in infrastructure development, Strategic Planning, Estimating, documentation, budgeting, policy development, safety management regulatory compliance, materials and scheduling.

Joseph also has extensive experience with large complex construction and loss projects. Joseph is able to quickly analyze these types of projects and to come up with an effective action plan and budget to facilitate the best resolution to the problem both safely and efficiently.

Beginning her career as an estimating coordinator at a leading construction company in the Northeast, Ms. Morandi has rapidly risen to become a seasoned cost estimator in the building consulting industry. With her exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Xactimate, she consistently delivers accurate and well-supported estimates to her clients. Over the past 5 years, Ms. Morandi has provided estimates for a wide range of projects including healthcare facilities, affordable housing complexes, condominiums, residential homes, military bases, school districts, multi-family complexes, and commercial offices and buildings.

More recently her professional experience has been based highly on capturing project losses regarding documenting loss conditions, scope, estimating costs, and other deliverables. Her experience in this industry over the last 7 years of her professional career has been critical in allowing her to specialize in construction estimating, scope analysis and review, and documentation of site conditions. Outside of the mentioned consulting engagements above, she also has consulting experience working for restaurants, golf courses, churches, and industrial buildings. Some of the losses Ms. Morandi has written estimates for include, but are not limited to damages from: water, fire, hail, wind, pipe freezes, and other natural disasters such as hurricanes and tornados.

Samantha has extended experience in the insurance industry with regards to both construction management and construction estimating since starting her education and professional career both over 12 years ago. Ms. Morandi has not only worked with but led construction teams ranging from other consultants to subcontractors in the field while working to ensure the budget is met, and the project is on track at all times.

Gary Tempro is a Senior Consultant, a respected construction consultant whose work includes inspection of damaged buildings, determination of means, methods and costs of repair, estimating cost of work, monitoring job site progress, Assignments have included commercial and industrial structures, medical facilities, railways, multi‐unit structures, historic buildings, and residences. Gary has evaluated damages caused by fire, windstorm, hurricane, tornado, collapse, vandalism, acts of terrorism, flood, soil movement, and expansion.

Gary has over 18 years of experience in the construction and insurance industry as both a project manager and monitor. During Gary’s tenure at J.S. Held, he was involved in identifying loss related work, project management, and on-site project monitoring on numerous major loss assignments throughout the United States. He has served as the on‐site project monitor on various large complex insurance losses including shopping malls, airports, high‐rise buildings, schools, railways, medical facilities and industrial complexes.
